According to the wishes of its founder Helmut Newton, the Newton Foundation<\/a> should not be a \u201cdead museum\u201d, but a \u201cliving institution\u201d. As such, each exhibition presents a selection of Helmut Newton\u2019s innovative, provocative images in dialogue with works by the very best photographers of our time.<\/p>\n

The popularity of the exhibitions<\/a> has allowed the Newton Foundation to establish itself as an dynamic part of Berlin’s cultural scene. Revisiting Helmut Newton<\/em><\/a> \u2013 and introduce a new, more immersive way to experience Helmut Newton’s work and personality.<\/p>\n

At the heart of the presentation is an impressive film room: eight video projectors and four large-format screens stage an elaborately produced film portrait of our foundation’s founder. \nHelmut Newton\u2018s<\/a>
\nOne-off Album<\/a>[\/vc_custom_heading][vc_column_text text_lead=”yes” uncode_shortcode_id=”791821″ el_class=”weisslink”]On 5 June 2026, the Newton Foundation in Berlin opens two new exhibitions: Rooms \/ Stages<\/em><\/a> and Helmut Newton\u2019s One-off Album<\/em><\/a>. The front rooms host works by a dozen artists exploring the theme of space and stage, while the main hall features monumental motifs by Helmut Newton dedicated to the same topic. This part of the group show Rooms \/ Stages<\/em><\/a> leads to the rear exhibition space, where a unique photo album by Newton is presented in Berlin for the first time.
