Long before he filled his own first books by international publishing houses with his fashion images, he worked on commissions for top magazines and fashion houses.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;2\/3&#8243;][vc_column_text]Newton published quite a few of these photographs in 1984 in his fourth book \u2013 ironically and descriptively titled <strong><em>World Without Men<\/em><\/strong>. The book includes statements and commentaries by Newton alongside many of the iconic photographs that he took in Paris, St. Tropez, Los Angeles, Milan, Berlin and London from the 1960s through the 1980s. For the first time, the legendary photo book is now transformed into an exhibition and presented in its entirety.<\/p>\n<p>This is complemented by <em><strong>Archives de Nuit<\/strong><\/em>, an exhibition project and accompanying publication by Helmut Newton, which premiered in 1992 in Paris. The project brings together diverse black &amp; white photographs by Newton from the late 1980s and early 1990s: portraits, nudes, landscapes, and still lifes \u2013 but no fashion. Some of these pictures are presented for the first time in Berlin.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the French artist and author <strong>Fran\u00e7ois-Marie Banier<\/strong> is invited to present more than 30 of his photographic portraits in \u201cJune\u2019s Room\u201d, among them Johnny Depp, Woody Allen, Samuel Beckett, Andy Warhol, Louise Bourgeois, and Caroline von Monaco. Banier has exhibited worldwide and his multifaceted work has been presented in numerous publications.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row unlock_row_content=&#8221;yes&#8221;
